We are dedicated to helping you increase your body awareness, move safely and correctly through the movements designed to build strength, flexibility and balance.
Our teachers are trained in anatomy and alignment that helps to avoid injuries and make poses particularly therapeutic and transformative. There is no yoga pretense here, just down to earth smart teachers that are focused on helping you grow.
We have been located in downtown Vancouver since 2001 and are honored to have many of those same students from day one still practicing and growing with us. That is a rare and special gift for a studio. We truly have a strong community here, of great people, committed to evolving and good health. Our students are men and women of all ages, sizes and abilities.
How we connect body-mind-spirit in the classes:
Body- Hatha yoga postures practiced mindfully using principles of alignment. Yoga movements are a way to foster greater awareness, balance and symmetry in the body and create greater freedom and health.
Mind- Using breathing techniques, meditation, and introspective philosophy to bring clarity to the mind, deepen self awareness and free us from the thoughts that don't serve us.
Spirit/heart- Honoring and recognizing that the highest intention is to awaken the student to their heart, grace and full potential of being.
